What it is: Black and gray fabric with white insulated interior waterproof and breathable cold weather cycling jacket. Features fabric cuffs and tall collar, 3 back pockets, back reflective accents, YKK full zipper, white fleece interior, and waterproof breathable shell.
Why I like it: This is definitely designed for colder weather, and the temp range depends on the thickness and number of base layers. With a long sleeve merino wool base was comfortable in the 30s (°F). The breathable fabric keeps you dry, and from sweating. There are 2 vertical stretch fabric panels under the arms that help with this as well. The neck and cuffs are comfortable, and help maintain warmth. A few design elements would really improve this: 1) A lower back flap to reduce water kicked up from the wheels. 2) A longer zipper pull to make it easier to grip with gloves. 3) Size accuracy—sleeve length and jacket length is very good, but the chest size runs on the smaller side. Overall, a very capable cold weather cycling jacket for road, gravel, commuter, or mountain biking.
Update 1/1/24: I wore this on a gravel bike race today. It was 37°F with 8mph winds, and the trail was wet with muddy sections. I had arm warmers, a merino wool base layer, and this jacket, and was very comfortable. I add the arm warmers as an extra layer, as it helps heat the blood in the forearms, making for warmer hands on colder rides. On the last sections of the race (into the wind, and pushing an 18-20mph pace), I actually had to unzip it about 1/3 as I was getting a bit toasty. The jacket certainly kept me warm and dry!
